Cayenne pepper

Spread the love

Cayenne pepper, yum…  Yes, this is another tasty addition to FITTEAM FIT.  However, Cayenne pepper is not in the ingredient list for it spicy flavor, in fact you can’t even taste a hint of it actually.  However, the capsaicin that that gives this pepper, and all peppers for that matter, it’s heat is the primary hero here.  Cayenne pepper or more specifically the capsaicin has been shown to dilate the blood vessels and speeds up metabolism which can help with weight loss.  This in turn helps to increase bloodflow and therefore oxygen and nutrient delivery throughout the body.

Cayenne pepper has also been shown to aid in the oxidation of adipose tissue (aka helps reduce body fat), regulate high blood pressure, promote healthy liver function and tissue production, help regulate the digestive system, and promote healthy mucus production in the membranes that line internal organs.  Additionally, cayenne pepper can help reduce blood sugar, lower blood pressure, and suppress appetite.  Quite a bit of good comes from these little peppers.

Here again is the low down from WebMD in addition to much of the above information which came from Wikipedia.
