This one is a little more commonplace for those of us here in the good old USA. This is derived from, you guessed it, the Grapefruit. I think everyone has probably heard of grapefruit as being a good dietary choice for weight loss. It also happens to have anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties. There is also some evidence that it helps with cholesterol, asthma, stress, depression, and a number of other conditions.
Once again, like many other ingredients there are some people who should avoid grapefruit seed extract such as those with allergies to citrus. And of course, women who are pregnant or nursing will want to consult their OB, pediatrician and/or lactation specialist. Otherwise, the only apparent concerns with grapefruit are to avoid consuming an excess amount which is simply not possible by sticking to the recommendations for FITTEAM FIT in not exceeding 4 sticks per day.
