Scott’s FITTEAM Protein Shake…

This is my favorite recipe for a protein shake.  The taste is decent for me, it’s really more about the ingredients that matters to me.  I sometimes have this for breakfast and other times it’s a post workout shake.  In fact, sometimes it is my post workout/breakfast shake/meal.  Anyway, here you go…

  • 2 oz Organic Kefir
  • 2 – 4 oz liquid egg whites
  • 6 – 8 oz dark chocolate almond milk
  • 1 FITTEAM Lean pouch

Most of the protein is actually coming from the liquid egg whites and this is great as it’s an extremely digestible protein and doesn’t have much in the way of flavor.  The kefir, which many people probably have never heard of, tastes like hell straight but it is a natural source of probiotics as well as having some protein also (shop with caution if you are lactose intolerant).  Almond milk is pretty much the base and has some protein but not as much as dairy, however I love dark chocolate so it really helps the taste for me.  The final component is the FITTEAM Lean.  This is FITTEAM’s 100% organic protein product that has a vanilla flavor but that works fine with chocolate too.  (I’ll be posting more information about Lean soon, so keep your eyes open for that.)
